Cumin-Spiced Green Plantain Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 whole green plantain ¼" slice
  • 2 tbsp avocado or olive oil
  • ½ lemon juice of
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Slice plantain into ¼" slices. The thinner the slice the more crispy the chip, the thicker the slice the more "pillow-like" the chip will be.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
  • Season with spices.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Serve hot out of the oven and serve with guacamole.
